We are All Leaders of our Everyday Life

Image
What is Everyday Leadership ? The leadership today I am talking about is not the one which makes the individual practitioners of it Great, Rich & Famous.  Nor am I talking about the Political Heroes I am also not speaking about that leadership which makes it’s organisation more wealthy & established worldwide The leadership I am concerned about is the Everyday Common Routine Leadership more particularly from the privileged among us The leadership that accepts, views & treats everyone with acceptable level of dignity The Leadership that understands the pain & sufferings of the less privileged among the population That leadership whose sense & heart vows to do something for them That man & his leadership who gives away whatever is possible from his earnings to others in help Empathy is the Key The one who believes that their status, earnings & privileges are also due to the hidden contributions of the unprivileged & the silenced The leaders among us whose

Successful Leadership and the Art of Alchemy

Who is a free man ?  Who do you think is a free man? The one who acts according to his own free will According to Philosophers, any man acting out of pure Passion & Emotion even in his own Free Will Action (FWA) is still not a free man. That man is slave to passion Only those who act out of Reason & Logic in their  Free Will Action   FWA is really free Take it or leave it situation According to above either the man acts out of heart or out of the brain. Leave it or take it situation But I have a different opinion. Even those who act purely out of Reason is a slave to it Man by very nature cannot act without some Emotion or Passion mixed in it’s action Even Kant sets the limit of pure reason in his book “The Critique of Pure Reason” The Middle Way  There is always a Third Way or Midway. The fine balance between Passion & Reason with the scale tilted more towards Logic & Reason This art of Alchemy is difficult but not impossible. The man who practices it is the master of

Everything is in the State of Perpetual Change  The expanding universe, collapsing stars, the climate change, our ageing, our fortunes etc are all change  Irrespective of our wishes the change continues to happen. Change is involuntary & beyond control. It is not slave to our cravings Change is Emotional neutral. Construction & Destruction both are changes. Change is Moral Neutral. It can be Ethical & unethical too Change is Reference Based To some people change is welcome. To others the same change is misfortune Change is Reference based. From which Reference Point (RF) one views change determines whether change is Good or Bad Every incoming change destroys the pre-existing. Change takes birth on the demise of something. To one perspective it means birth. To the other it means death If change has so many colors dark & white, then what to choose what to despair? What we normally understand & accept change is from our Reference Point. If that change provides more ben

How leadership succeeds when they understand the power of perception

If You Want to Succeed, Develop Leadership of Mind  If we are asked who Einstein was, almost everyone would answer it correctly.  If asked for what discovery he was awarded the Nobel Prize (NP), most of us will say “The theory of Relativity(TR)” But Einstein received Nobel Prize for the “Photoelectric Effect(PE)” & not for t he theory of Relativity. Why ? Henri Bergson Disputes Einstein TR  The Philosopher Henri Bergson disputed Einstein’s  The theory of Relativity  and said that it belonged more to the realms of Philosophy than Physics The Nobel Prize committee accepted Bergson’s argument. That is why  The theory of Relativity was not considered as a theory of Physics by the Nobel Prize Committee   Albert Einstein became a cult figure worldwide for  The theory of Relativity  & not for the  Photoelectric Effect(PE) Even during the Nobel Prize acceptance speech, he talked about   The theory of Relativity    and not about the  Photoelectric Effect(PE) The Power of Perception  Thi

It's All About The Passion  More than knowledge  it is Passion that eventually determines glory. Many have Knowledge but do they have enough Passion to script the triumph The Assyrian king Ashur-Banipal (650 BC) was not a historian nor was he a literary genius. His forte was state craft & warfare. But he had immense Passion  for History  and Literature  He transcribed all the Literary of the olden days & recorded all the History of the past on clay tablets. He developed huge library & kept all of his books in it Thousands of such books survived. It was only due to him that we know more about the Mesopotamian Civilization Imagine if he would not have shown such leadership beyond his domain knowledge & continued to do his regular statecraft works. We would have lost almost 4000 years of our history There were many Great and powerful Kings before him who had more resources than him. But no one did what he did.  Why ? The only reason could be Passion It is not imperat
